Do not let people live your life

We get life, this great gift of nature only once. Live it like you want to live it, follow your passion, do not get scared, do not fear. Few years back, I got admission in one of the top 20 universities of world. I got an email from one of community guys studying there supposedly trying to help us. In short, he wrote the life is too tough here, you not only study but while living abroad you also need to run a household as well. He concluded, "I do not want to scare you but just preparing you for coming to a foreign country". Man, come on you scared shit out of me, is this the way to prepare, if you could survive, anybody can. I did not join that university as got some better opportunity but literally it was not because of his email. I mean encourage people based on reality, do not scare them of unseen. 

people will tell you, how to live a life, how to follow religion, what is right and what is wrong. They follow certain "rules" and those are rules until they quit themselves. Almost 20 years back, people in countryside used to mock their relatives living in cities for not having weddings, birthdays and other festivities of life at home rather going to a hotel or a family club. This was not bad by any measure but still people got mocked. Now, since we have electricity, television, media and resourcefulness even in sub-urban areas, people have dwelled a similar lifestyle which was considered taboo some years back. Why, is it not bad now? The answer is, it was never bad, only the village people did not have exposure and affordability. Once they have it, its perfectly legal. So, we do not have to over-hear those with limited exposure or a pessimistic mindset. 

One of my friends father was criticizing the fashionable lifestyle of his neighbor's son. who had been abroad for some years. Soon, his own son (my friend) left for studies abroad and he is living the same life which his father was questioning for his neighbor's son. Not only uncle is happy but proudly tells how modern and luxurious life his son is living. I do not say, its bad, even their neighbor's behavior was also acceptable but they did not accept that until they themselves did the same. This is simply rubbish and now if some other people who heard these type of psychopaths, would not send their kids abroad for higher studies just to fear their child will astray from their culture, whose fault is this? 

One of the famous cricketers Imran Khan who also won world cup for Pakistan in 1992. When he started to play cricket; after his first test match, next day's newspaper read, "Imran Can't", mimicking his name Imran Khan and signifying the fact that he could not play cricket. But, he played and played well. If he would have heard that newspaper, a nation might not be world champion.

Do not listen them, listen your heart, work hard, follow your passion, love what you do, do not let people live your life. Live your life yourself for once.
