I was in college when three decade old syllabus and examination methodology was changed. Some of our class fellows took private tutoring to get good grades in the new system. I never had private tutor in my whole academic career and I believe that was unnecessary, and today when we have Khan Academy and so many other online learning tools, private tutoring business must come to an end. Coming back to my thought, one of class fellows used to have many MCQs type problems provided from his tutor and I often saw him to share that with the distinction holder student to make good friends with him. Once, I asked him to share practice problems with me and he urged me not to share with anybody else but ultimately he did not even give that to me. I was stunned at his approach and tell you what after the final examinations, my grades were better than his despite all his knowledge hiding. I have seen people hiding information from peers, whether its a scholarship, job or anything from which someone may benefit. "This is because of their short shortsightedness, lack of confidence in their own abilities and ignorance of pleasure and power of giving".
