Prove Your Identity

We have been in war of terror for quite some time now. It not only affected our country's economy, and security situation but also social norms. Our beautiful cities which were once centers of civilizations are now barricaded and we have to prove our identity at different check posts and before entering any school, college, university or office. Often people feel as if all these security checks are unnecessary. I agree these are problematic but mainly meant to be for our own security. At times people do not cooperate with security agency guys and behave in a rude manner without realizing that how they are risking their lives in line of fire to protect us all. I became more empathetic with those people, since I have been invigilating in examinations and felt a sense of discomfort on part of students. They think that all those verification procedures, we use are useless. "Generally speaking, whenever we have problem with others, we may put ourselves in their place and see what we would have been doing to make sure job is done as per rules".
